Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a design professional who understands how buildings are detailed, and who is comfortable managing the construction documentation of a project. The successful candidate must be self-motivated while working effectively in a team.

 

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Building design and planning

  2. Technical detailing and computer documentation

  3. Overseeing a small design team

  4. Consultant coordination

  5. Client engagement

 

SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY:

Hood-Rich Architecture is an all Mac office, utilizing a variety of software and applications. The successful candidate should be comfortable with a Mac user interface and the native Mac applications. The Microsoft Office suite of applications are also used daily. Our work is primarily performed in ArchiCAD by Graphisoft. Proficiency in this software is preferred but not required. We anticipate that most candidates will be proficient in Revit, and Hood-Rich is prepared to train you in ArchiCAD if necessary.

 

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of ten years of practice is required. Professional licensure is preferred but not required.

 

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

This is a full-time salaried position, and compensation will be commensurate with your experience. Additional benefits include:

Emerging Design Professional

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an emerging design professional who has a desire to know how buildings are detailed, and who is dedicated to improving the construction documentation of a project. The successful candidate must be self-motivated while working effectively in a team.

  3. Technical detailing and computer documentation
