Centerstone Building A Renovation + Addition
The $3.3 million renovation and addition of Centerstone’s (formerly Burrell) flagship Building A in Springfield, Missouri created a modern, integrated facility for physical and behavioral health care services.
The 18-month renovation comprehensively redesigned the interior, prioritizing a welcoming, patient-centered experience with designated check-in areas, a world-class Burrell Pharmacy, and comfortable waiting spaces. The project significantly expanded service capacity by accommodating the Youth Focus Clinic, integrating primary care through a partnership with Fordland Clinic, and incorporating dedicated treatment spaces for modern modalities like Telehealth and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The revitalized space effectively modernized the 1986 structure to meet the expanding needs of complex mental health treatment.
