The Summit Preparatory

Hood-Rich provided architectural renovation services for the Summit Preparatory School, as they transitioned from shared to leased facilities, then on to own a 40,000 square foot facility.

The design focuses on collaborative learning while creating spaces to celebrate student work and foster social interactions within the learning environment. The renovation includes; open classrooms, flexible work spaces, renewable energy solutions, 4 acres of outdoor green and recreation space. The existing facility provides growth opportunities for the school’s current population of 150 students from pre-school through grade 12. The total cost of this project was $667,000 and was completed in 2018.
